In Hebrews 8:7-13 God expresses His love to us as a promise.
Our natural human love is different then God’s love because it is self centered and selfish. It’s desire is to fulfill itself.
But God’s love comes to us as a promise of mercy and forgiveness. A love that lays down His own life for the sake of redeeming and saving others.
The two qualities of God’s love is to be merciful to our iniquities and remember our sins no more.
Does your love for your wife, husband, children, or brothers and sisters in Christ have these two qualities?
The King James version translates this as “God will not mention our sins to us again.”
Jude 1:24-25. “Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy,
To the only God our saviour, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.
