God’s Autograph on our Life

“And they shall see His face; and His name shall be in their foreheads” (Revelation 22: 4).
In this world people consider it a great honor to have the autograph of someone who is famous. To possess something that has the authentic touch of this person on it somehow feels like you know them better and brings a feel of closeness to this person.
So it is with our Jesus. He is the most famous person alive! And He gives us, not only the signature of His own hand, but allows us to use His very name.
This begs the question: How does our Father in heaven sign His Name on our life?
Hebrews 12: (6) “For whom the Lord loves He chastens, and scourges every son whom He receives. (8) But if you be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are you bastards, and not sons.”
My dear brothers and sisters, let’s not despise the Chastening of the Lord in our life. This is His autograph on your life to prove to you that you are His child. This revelation of Love will revolutionize your life. Satan tries to persuade us that God is angry with us when He chastens us, and surely we must have disappointed Him in some area of our life.
However, exactly the opposite is true. Our Father in heaven tells us clearly, “He chastens every son in whom He delights” (Proverbs 3:12).
I Peter 4: (12) “Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: (13) But rejoice, in as much as you are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when His glory shall be revealed, you may be glad with exceeding joy.”
We as Christians must stop the pity party we have for each other, when heaven is rejoicing! So often we try to comfort one another in the opposite way than our Father comforts us, and it sets a wrong atmosphere in our Churches and in our Homes.
Let’s begin to rejoice for those who are chastened of the Lord and are experiencing fiery trials instead of joining their self – pity. When we pity someone, we comfort them from this perspective, which serves to convince them to pity themselves even more. This kind of comfort doesn’t make a “thankful heart”.
If we as God’s children are to truly understand His Love and grace, we must change our minds about suffering and the fiery trials that God sends into our lives. We must see them as an opportunity to be a partaker of Jesus and our Father’s autograph of Love on our life.
Believing this will change your perspective so that you will never complain or be discouraged. It will as Peter says, “make us perfect, stablish, strengthen, and settle us.”
To Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Amen! Thanks brother. I really like this and want to grow in the rejoicing part:) Because as you said once I really grasp His autograph on my life then I will stop complaining, and start rejoicing that I’m His son. Praise the Lord He truly loves us.
Bro. Phil,
Thank you so much for the warm welcome and a very enjoyable time of worship and fellowship.
As I mentioned to Santosh… if you’re ever coming to Washington let us know.
