We consider it a blessing to be able to provide live broadcasts and videos from our church services for free. Here are a few important instructions regarding these videos that we would like to share with you.

Browser Choice

Many of the solutions for the ideal video viewing experience require the Firefox browser. If you don’t already have Firefox installed on your computer, you can get it for free here:
        Install Firefox.

If you do already have Firefox installed, ensure that you have the latest version: In Firefox, depending on which version you currently have, click on either:
        Help -> About Firefox
or:
        Help -> Check for Updates.

Blocking Video Advertisements

The broadcast provider that we utilize has always included some advertising content, and we accept that that is often necessary in order for us to provide a free service. Unfortunately, our broadcast provider now automatically includes video advertising content that is inappropriate for viewing. We apologize if any of you have had to view such inappropriate advertising content. This content can be effectively blocked using trusted software programs, and we provide instructions below on how to do so.

Using Firefox, download the:
        Adblock Plus Add-on.
(If you see a pop-up warning that “Firefox prevented this site from (addons.mozilla.org) from asking you to install software on your computer”, click on Allow.)

Then in the “Software Installation” window, select “Adblock Plus” from the list and click on Install Now. After installing the Add-on, you will be prompted to restart Firefox. After restarting Firefox, you will be prompted to select a filter subscription for this Add-on. If you don’t see this prompt, you can get to it manually via Tools -> Adblock Plus -> Filter preferences -> Add filter subscription. Select the following subscription from the menu:
        EasyList (English)
and click on: Add subscription.

Now when you watch the broadcast using Firefox, you should not see any video advertisements.

Downloading Videos

Please follow these instructions if you would like to download any of the recorded videos.

In Firefox, click on Tools -> Add-ons. In the Search Box in the top right-hand corner, enter “Download Helper” and then click the Search (magnifying class) icon.

Find the following item: “Download YouTube Videos…” (this will most likely be the first item), and click on the Install button. After the add-on finishes downloading, close and restart Firefox. You should now see a new Download Helper toolbar at the top of your Firefox browser.

Now go to the Video Download page for the specific video you would like to download, and click on: “Save Video” from the Download Helper toolbar at the top of your browser to save the file to your computer.

The saved file should now be playable using the FLV Player, which you can get for free from:
        Install FLV Player
