Are You Wearing Out?

Have you grown weary in well doing, my brother or sister? If so, you are quite human. This is all very natural in physical body. However, in our spirits we need never grow weary or faint.
How is this possible? I often wondered at this and then the Lord revealed a secret of strength to me. Remember Samson’s secret of strength? So our Father gives His secret of inner strength to His Children who trust and obey Him. Samson retained the Lord’s supernatural strength as long as he obeyed the Lord’s command to abstain from strong drink and never cut his hair.
Today the Lord Jesus has a secret inner strength that He makes available to all of His Children who obey in faith, the commandments He gives to us through His Word and the Holy Ghost.
Jesus doesn’t sell these secrets of inner strength at a yard sale for cheap. They don’t come in bulk sale prices. Rather, He reveals them to those who fear Him, one at a time, to give them inner strength and grace for the particular trial they are going through.
There is a secret of inner strength that Satan can never wear out! In Daniel 7:25 the Lord tells us that Satan shall wear out the Saints of the most High…and indeed we see him doing so in front of our eyes.
Many Christian workers in the Kingdom of Christ are wearing out. Many Fathers and mothers are growing weary, and many youth are fainting and growing weary of the Christian life. What is the reason? Is there any hope for us? Is this okay because its natural? I believe there is Hope for us!
There is a secret to this Hope. In Isaiah 40:28-31 the Lord tells us this secret and how to experience living this Christian life in a world that is filled with demons trying desperately to wear out the Saints.
Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? (28) He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. ( 31 ) But they that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Romans 12 tells us to minister according to the measure of faith and grace we have. To not think of ourselves more highly than we ought, but soberly. ( realistically ) I believe if every Saint would be careful to obey the Lord in this way, not one of us would ever wear out or faint. If we would be careful to always seek our Father’s face before we minister to the needs we see around us, He would give us “Heavenly Wisdom “ to live this life in such a way, that we never become faint or discouraged. Waiting takes faith to believe that He is going before us to bring to pass the salvation we so earnestly desire.
This obedience of faith pleases our Father more than many hours of sacrificial labor and prayer. This is the secret of our strength. When He tells us to minister His word of grace, we do so. When He tells us to not get involved, we stay quiet before Him. Living before our Father’s face in this way, assures Him of all the glory and praise when the work is accomplished! We are simply his servants, doing our duty.
My brothers and sisters, lets learn to wait upon the Lord, and He will make sure we never wear out!
