accused

Romans 2:14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: (15) Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or excusing one another.

As I study the Book of Romans, I find God accurately describes my experience, in words that reveal “Truth” to me, in ways I have never known. You know how it is when you can’t seem to express the feelings you have…..then someone puts them into words for you? This is the power of the “Word of God.” It is living and powerful, and divides our soul from our spirit and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Heb. 4:12)

All men everywhere are in one of these 3 states of mind. Either we are accusing ourselves and punishing ourselves, or we excuse ourselves and accuse others, or we are set free from the accuser, without excuse, and through the Power of Forgiveness are made righteous. (Justified)

To be forgiven is to be justified. To be made righteous is to be forgiven.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful to just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Romans 5:9 Much more than, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

Romans 8:33 Who shall lay anything to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. (34) Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Unless I am forgiven, I will either accuse myself or excuse myself and accuse others. However, when the blood of Jesus cleanses me from all unrighteousness through forgiving all my sins, “Love” will cast out all fear in my heart. There is no fear in Love, but perfect love casts out fear; because fear has torment.

God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is our Love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgement:

This compounds “Love” in my life. Now, not only am I forgiven, and therefore Love God, but I have forgiven others and therefore am “Loved” as well.

As I live by the “law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1-2 ), there is now no condemnation!

The study of this “Truth” will change my mind; the daily experience of this “Truth” will change my life forever!
